It is advised you use the latest version of MAME available at : https://www.mamedev.org/

You can launch the the debugger by starting MAME like this:

Yes. Generally speaking, 'foo' bios roms go into the 'foo.zip' file in the designated 'roms' folder.

PS: 'mame foo -listcrc' helps

what a stupid question unless you were never born in arcade years, then you can't understand obviously I just don't like the crappy emulation on many of the games, particularly the 3d games which are pretty much unplayable in MAME.
