Loading Roms (mame and consoles, etc)

Has it ever been considered that roms (arcade or consoles, etc) could be loaded from the context menu? Currently, it seems very hit and miss if I can get a game running via the softlist (the name has to be exact) but I'm more successful using Mame's builtin file manager. To simplify this process, couldn't a game be loaded by right-clicking on the required game from the OS's file manager? (for example, "Load Game via Mame"). Just an idea.
