Re: Bug in MESS emulating MEMOTECH MTX512 - game emulation

You claim to be using MESS, which no longer exists, so which version of MAME/MESS are you using? The copy of Jet Set Willy in the software list appears to run correctly on current MAME 0.281 release, are you trying to run another version of JSW and where can I find it to test with? I also don't have...

Re: Acorn BBC Working Well - Nice one

Thanks, appreciate the feedback. This update was long overdue, and as a result the code is now also much more maintainable for each BBC machine. The big news was that the Acorn Speech upgrade is now working, that no other emulator currently supports, though only used by a handful of games. As you've...

Yes, it should be logged as a bug, though there's a chance I may have time to look at it before next release.

I can't seem to get it to happen, though. What's the right way to accomplish this? The channelf driver is currently outputting a video reso...

Re: Unavailable games

These all require CHD's which you likely don't have.

Re: Timex Sinclair Help

The other is for some reason my Sinclair 1000 will not do anything after the cassette finishes. Both the 1000/1500 use the same ZX81 Bios so not sure why but the 1500 works exactly as instructed. The Sinclair 1000 only has 2K of RAM, most games require 16K as found in the Sinclair 1500. The ZX81 on...

Re: Timex Sinclair Help

Hi John, you mentioned previously that you had a Timex Sinclair 1000 so I would assume you knew how to use it. I had one in 1981 and remember it well. In MAME when you start it with 'mame64 zx81 astroids' you are effectively switching on a ZX81 with the asteroids tape in the attached cassette player...

The set name is astroids not asteroids, use "mame64 zx81 astroids".
