Re: frontend for mame

There's no C++ liability for a MAME frontend. It all depends about the scripting capabilities of a given language(s) and how it can read XML out the box. Can be done in Python, in LUA, in Rust, with any web frontend and so on ... Thanks for the correction. One would still need to learn the given la...

Re: frontend for mame

Hello again, I know a little about C++ programming, but I don't know how to start using the program. Perhaps a tutorial on any platform could help me learn. I hope you understand my message here. Note: I use Google Translate, and the words I type aren't always accurate. I look forward to your reply...

Re: Cruisin USA Ending Skipping Frames

The Cruisin USA roms (all of them) at the end of the game when you see former US president Bill Clinton in the hot tub at the end. Does not play properly, it skips forward several frames to the staff roll. I was wondering if this could be fixed. Cruisin World at the end does not have this problem. ...

Re: Coleco Adam Not Working

Seeing how you want to be a shithead about I can see why it is still broken and likely will remain broken because no one will want to work with an ass. Just for the record: I am in no way, shape, or form whatsoever part of or affiliated with the 'MAME team' (however you choose to define that). I'm ...

Re: Coleco Adam Not Working

Right now over at Arcade Database it is reported that all is good with Mame and the Adam as of 6/30/2025. The reason I asked is I would like to stop wasting my time trying to get a system to work that everyone says works and I'm left wondering what I am doing wrong. Arcade Database also notes, unde...

Re: Coleco Adam Not Working

Yes I did get that message So why are you asking then, when you already knew the answer ? but that has been like that for almost 10 years If an actual (still working) machine does not surface and gets in the hands of the right people, then it won't get a new dump. This is true regardless of how lon...
