It is the official forum but it's relatively new so, as you say, not much traffic. You can also report bugs at Mame Testers, or you can talk about it on our IRC channels.

Re: SNES DSP1 Chips

In what way are they combined? If one is simply joined to the end of the other you can use the copy /b command from the command-line.

copy /b dsp1b-program.bin+dsp1b-data.bin dsp1b.u3

(I don't know what order they need to be in, you'll have to work that out).

Re: Atari ROM Folder Help

There was a whole heap of breakage during the 0.184 to 0.185 cycle, and perhaps your problem is caused by that. However it is working with the current git version. I'd suggest downloading 0.186 when it is released next Wednesday and give that a try.

Make a folder called 'software' under the folder containing MAME. Then from within the software folder make a folder called 'a2600'. Put asteroid.zip into the a2600 folder. Re: *BUG* TMS34010 Debugger Disassembly

Fixed the 2nd problem, of MOVB/MOVE absolute to absolute showing the first address twice.

For the 1st problem, according to the command summary, the MOVE display is correct, so no change made there.

Re: D3D vs Opengl

Depends on your graphics card and driver. Sometimes it's D3D, sometimes it's Opengl.

You will have to try it out for yourself with some speed tests.

There's 2 other choices: gdi and bgfx which you might also like to try.

Re: New to MAME, need some help.

If you're using MAMEUI or some similar derivative, firstly press F5 so it can find out what sets you have (takes a long time), then click on Available in the left panel.

Re: Start a game from savestate

It sounds like you are using MAMEUI which is not supported in this forum. However, if you find that "Load Savestate" is greyed out, it means that savestates are not officially supported for that game. If it wasn't greyed out, and the savestate failed to work, try loading it in official MAME. If it s...
