Re: Astro Blaster Runs too slow

Did you read my post? I said games like Xevious 3D/G run AT FULL SPEED. Why would a Z80 based game run slower than this one??? it doesn't make any sense. If my PC can run a much more demanding game, like Xevious 3D/G, why on earth would it struggle to run Astro Blaster????? Oh, and BTW, my PC runs ...

Re: Beginner question! Wireless joystick

Although I've had MAME for a long time, I now want to play it on my big screen which I'm hoping can be done with a wireless joystick. Wired no problem but before I go out and get one I figure I'd ask if this is possible with MAME and is their any way I could use a PS4 joystick as I have one that I ...

Re: Delete ROMs in MAME?

Is it possible to delete ROM files directly in MAME? Right now I have MAME and Windows Explorer open. I'm going through the list of games I have and play each one to decide if I want to keep it or not, then switch to Explorer and search for the filename to delete it, but that's a bit tedious. No. M...

Re: Individual file of all updates to Mame since version 0.1

I wondered whether there's a text file that contains all the updates to Mame since the very first version? I thought it would be interesting to read them without having to click on each one first. If not, I might create my own, I just thought if someone's already done it, then I'd save myself some ...

Re: Blasteriods Thrust

In all Blasteriods versions, the thrust is not maintained. It just emits a quick burst then stops. Can anyone confirm this? Asteroids works properly, so I know my controls are configured properly. Thank You. Works fine for me in testing. Holding thrust button (default left ALT) allows thrust as lon...

Re: Light gun second player

How do I set up a second player using a mouse for a light gun? I already set up my first mouse for the first player and I have a second mouse but I don't know how to set it up for second player. I also have a joystick and game controllers which I can also use if MAME won't recognize two mouse's (mi...

Re: Is there a way to preserve your keymapping between mame updates?

I update mame monthly, but the most frustrating thing is re-mapping all my keys with a new mame.ini file. Is there a way to preserve those keymaps? I understand that I can't just keep the default.cfg file if there are updates to the emulator, there just has to be a better way than every month going...
