Prototype Puckman board?

I've recently acquired a new (to me) Pac-man mahine, it's an original cabinet with what looks to be a standard board but possibly with prototype Eeproms installed on to it.
Instead of saying pac-man on the screen it actually says puck-man.
But the most notable difference is the maze. Instead of the standard tunnel on each side it as 3 on either side, a tunnel at the top, a tunnel at the bottom and the standard one in the middle. Has anyone ever come across this before? I haven't turned up anything in my google searches.

Edit - the screen looks like the picture I'm now attaching

I'm not sure, but it looks like a bootleg of the original 'puckman' [1], possibly this one [2] or similar ?

Thank you, I've since learned that this is just a rom hack. So I'm going to flash the original game code to the chips.

Mame lists a pacman version as puckman.

That was a subtly different later version where the walls would not be there in later rounds, not sure on that version name.

Actually if I recall correctly, 'Puckman' by Namco is the original (and came first), and then they licensed the property to Midway which then released 'Pacman' (which therefore is correctly listed as a 'clone' of Puckman in MAME).
