among them, mame seems to emulate only cx5m2, svi738 and yis503ii - i'm testing now, and these emulations from mame seems to behave as using 9918 instead of 9938

as confirmed, this is quite relevant, because some 9938 features like palette and some specific display modes (like "screen 4") that fits perfectly into the 16kb of video ram, even considering that msx1 bios routines and ansi-basic can't access them directly besides i/o commands
