Preservation and datasheet

Hello,
talking about preservation, I'm wondering if you have evaluated the chance to preserve also the datasheets of the hardware components emulated by MAME, in addition to make the source code of the project, which is obviously the primary task. Things like CPUs/MPUs, UARTs, audio/video controllers and so on, all these parts have a datasheets or user hardware/software manuals that may be hard to find online, or perhaps they may even exist only in printed form and not as digital documents.
On your https://github.com/mamedev you have several sub-projects which include the repositories with the sources of the emulator, the pages of the web site and others, perhaps it would be worth to create one with this content, for preserving them, unless it already exists elsewhere (but I have not found it on the site, unless it escaped to my attention).
What do you think?

Sincerely.
