Hi,

I play on Mame 0.177.
Not all roms have a DP Switch that contains an Invulnerability cheat and a Level Selection Mode cheat, why?
if a rom does not have this cheat, what must be done to get this cheat?
-change rom for the same game?
-other?

I'm looking for a Ghost'n'Goblins rom that contains a cheat invulnerability. Link?

MAME use the same dipswitches that where present in the original arcade game machine for each game.
If the original arcade machine for GnG did NOT have a dipswitch for invulnerability, MAME will NOT have a dipswitch for it!

Maybe you can try to use a cheat from the MAME cheat engine, to accomplish what you are looking for.

While we can't help you with specifics, if a game doesn't have any built-in DIP selections for various cheating options for level skipping or whatever there is often an external cheat that will allow you to perform what you want. There is a main place for cheats and you can go to this page to download them. If something isn't present in the cheat files either someone can't figure it out or it might not be made yet.
