Emulated TI Graph Link questions

What's the status of TI Graph-Link emulation for TI graphing calculators? Is it possible yet to transfer files onto/between calculators with it (or at all)?

I also see various devices in the slot menu, namely TI-8x bit socket, T-connector, and speaker. Do any of these have a purpose or are they skeletons?

Re: Emulated TI Graph Link questions

Yes, all the available peripherals work. You can use the “TI-Graph Link (grey, HLE)” (glinkhle) to transfer objects between emulated TI-82 and TI-85 calculators, or between an emulated calculator and a program running on the host system that can speak the byte-level TI-8x link protocol over a socked. TI-83 link assist hardware isn’t emulated, so you probably can’t transfer objects to/from an emulated TI-83.

Really? That's quite impressive for such a novel emulation. Didn't know MAME could interface with other programs beyond just a file manager.

As someone unfamiliar with how bit sockets work, how exactly would I transfer, say, an 85p file from my computer to an emulated 85? Does such a program simply not exist yet?
