Hello Mame Team, there is a bug in 64th Street - A Detective Story in all versions
Instead of 3 lives in the game, there are 2 lives
I know the arcade machine and I played it in the Japanese and American versions
and those versions have 3 lives
I hope they fix this error or leave it like that
I hope for a response and greetings to everyone at Mame Team.

It's not a bug. On the real hardware, there are dip-switches that you can adjust to (among others) change the amount of lives you get. '2 lives' appears to be the factory setting, but they can be adjusted to be either 1, 2, 3, or 5 lives.

In MAME, you can change these by pressing 'tab' and going into the MAME menu, select 'DIP switches', and set the desired amount of lives. You may have to select 'reset system' for the changes to take effect.

Hello again, I checked the game and
the dip switches, you can modify them
for example 2 lives (in the intro 2 lives), 3 lives (in the intro 3 lives), etc.
Whenever you change the dip switches, the intro is also modified
I don't know if it's a game error or if it's like that
check it out
Greetings from Argentina
