Is there any plan to fix this problem, which was reported to MAME TESTERS long ago?

https://mametesters.org/view.php?id=3864

By the way, the original report says it is the boss scene on the first page, but part of the BGM is missing even before getting to the boss scene.
Also, by the time you get to the boss scene, the “Fire!” and other voices are also missing by the time you get to the boss scene.

Bugs get fixed when they get fixed. Asking for specific bugs to be fixed is mostly frowned upon and even considered 'nagging', resulting only in the fact that people will be *less* motivated to look into it rather than more.

Having said that, the first comment in the bug report you linked to states that confirmation that this does not happen on the real hardware (and how it *does* behave on real hardware) needs to be obtained from an original PCB. So it seems to me that providing a verifiable recording of how the real PCB behaves and attaching it to the bug report would be a first step to help this move forward. It needs to be a real PCB though, and not some form of emulation (including but not limited to MAME).

Sorry if I seemed persistent.

This is not the arcade version (original PCB) but the Saturn version, but it is an official video.

Here is a video of the arcade version (original PCB).
https://youtu.be/C8NqvjfndYk

The first video starts at around 3:28, and the second video starts at around 2:41 (when you can see the right side of the collapsed bridge in the background),
In the MAME version, you can see the main melody of the BGM starting from this point and gradually collapsing.

Here is a video that appears to be the MAME version (version unknown) for comparison.

I hope you can use it as a reference.

Well, I guess you could create an account over at mametesters, and then post a new comment for the bug report. If it was me making the post, I would only reference the video of the original PGB arcade version (the Saturn version seems irrelevant) and perhaps the MAME version for comparison. With (as you have done here) a description of the difference between the two, and at what point/time in the video the difference occurs.

Again, no guarantees that this will be fixed anytime soon (or ever), but having the reference at least shows what the original hardware did which seems to be a good starting point.

Okay, I will try to do so.
Thanks.
