configuration of folder paths

Hi,
in the configuration of folder paths, Mame 0.177 on Mac OS does not allow more than 2 sub-trees (C :: // 1/2 /folder_name; which is not enough! I would like C: // 1 /2/3/4/5/6/7/8/..../folder_name
How to overcome this problem?

I have a couple paths in my .ini file which are 3 deep and they function properly on Windows (0.228):

samplepath samples;d:/samples;c:/mamegit/mame/samples
artpath artwork;c:/mamegit/mame/artwork
Perhaps it is a problem with your version or package for MAC OS? Have you tried to obtain a later binary?
MAME 0.177 you are reporting is nearly 4.5 years old now and is difficult to support.
