Oric1 Software List?

Unless I'm missing something obvious, I don't think there is a software list for the Oric1 (or Atmos), the early 80s home computer from Tangerine.

Is this just because no-one has done it, rather than any specific legal problem?

Should I make one?

If so:
1. Is there any tooling to help edit the XML file, or just any editor of my choice?
2. How complete does it have to be to be included? I think there are about 200 games to document, but I may lose the will before completing.
3. Any suggestions for creating the 'official' checksums? Can I just generate from the games I have, or do I need to search for every dump image out there. It was tape based if that affects the answer.

You're not wrong there is no SL for Oric in MAME, and the machine has good status (works well).

There is info here https://docs.mamedev.org/contributing/softlist.html

You can have a look at TOSEC (others have already compiled lists).

https://mame.spludlow.co.uk/Others/TOSEC/TOSEC.html
Do a CRTL+F for "oric"

Would be trivial to transform TOSEC data to MAME SL data. It would be an easy win, if it's acceptable?

Cheers

Thanks Sam,
That looks very useful. Is it possible to download the raw json data? I can get the system lists from the swagger page, but can't work out how to get the full software list for the Oric.
Cheers,
Erik
