Hello Mame Team, the mame or mess emulator
does not support 6 buttons on megadrive
in version 0.249 onwards
I don't know why if hidden, to play street fighter in megadrive with 6 buttons
but it can't be modified to 6 buttons

When you load the game through the Genesis or MegaDrive console entry, you can change your controller type by entering the Config menu (TAB) then choosing (SLOT DEVICES) and adjust the controller with left/right arrows for CTRL1 and CTRL2 to "MD6BUTTON". Once finished choose "RESET SYSTEM" to restart the game.

Hi from mameteam, I tried your way
saving the inp
for example: I deleted nvram and the game changes when it plays the inp it's another game that I didn't play
and it doesn't save the joystick configurations
when I leave the game and when I enter the game again
it's back to 3 buttons
I tried it in all versions of mame
from 0.251 to 0.274 and nothing
any solution?
