Official MAME only support some of Linux, some of Apple PC and some of Windows. I don't know what else Official MAME are supporting on. Official MAME don't support Android yet. Official MAME don't support everything.

You can turn it off from the mame.ini or from the MAME Video Options. No need to take it out.
