Arcade Timelines 0.289, based on the work of MAME and Gaming History's history.xml has been released!

What is Arcade Timelines?

Arcade Timelines' goal is to put each arcade cabinet in MAME (parent machines only) on a timeline, one for each decade.
Arcade cabinets are drawn as childs of their manufacturer span, using a dedicated color.
There is also an Arcade Systems timeline, showing all arcade systems present in MAME, across all decades.

It's possible to apply filters to the timeline and only show the arcade cabinets you want. There is also the option to show only the arcade cabinets of a certain manufacturer span. You can do this by SHIFT-clicking a span or press and hold a span for about half a second on touchscreen devices (do the same thing again to clear the focus).

For first time users, it's recommended to read the explanation after clicking the "?" button on the website.

For people who want to contribute to Gaming History, click the "contribute" link in the game description on Arcade Timelines. Your contribution will go directly to the Gaming History database and will be exported to history.xml when the next MAME version is released.

This is a very interesting and well-structured idea and website.
I just have one comment: I see that the image credits are attributed to Arcade Database, even though all the images are produced by https://www.progettosnaps.net/; the Motoschifo website is only authorized to redistribute them.

I just wanted to clarify that.
