Outrun accelerator with pedale doesn't work properly

Hi all

I try to play with logitech g923 steering and pedals on outrun with MAME version 261
the 2 accelerator and brake pedals do not work properly
if i press the pedal all the way to the end it does not have the same effect if i assign they to a button
if i press the test button and see the value on the input test we can see the difference -> see attachments

outrun is not the only game that is affected,
I have tried changing the value on the MAME input assignment and analog input adjustments, but nothing changes.

What am I doing wrong?

Your use case of actual driving wheels and pedals is rather esoteric but popular in hardcore driving circles.
As far as I am aware, none of the dev team members have access or use a steering wheel/pedal on the regular, so there may be a lock of knowledge from official. I browsed youtube a bit and there is a video which specifically talks about pedals (3:35 or thereabouts) and the unique way they need to be entered in for mapping.

the first video was very helpful
by me it did not work with the - trigger but when I set the pedal Reverse function to on on the analog input Adjustments works correctly
